Privacy Policy

VideoProven operates as a free media network. You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to watch our repair guides. Every video on this site loads directly for anyone who visits.

What we do not collect. We do not run analytics scripts, we do not use tracking cookies, we do not serve programmatic advertisements, and we do not integrate Google AdSense or any third-party ad network. There is no session tracking, no fingerprinting, no email capture, and no pixel-tagging on this site. You can confirm this yourself by opening your browser's developer tools and inspecting the Network and Application tabs while browsing.

What we do store. When a local business voluntarily submits the sponsor onboarding form, we store the information they provided — business name, phone number, service area, uploaded logo, and (optionally) website URL, certifications, and years in business — solely so we can display their listing on the guide page they chose. That data is publicly displayed once a submission is approved. We do not sell, share, or export this information to any third party.

Third-party video playback. Our video player embeds YouTube. When you press play, YouTube — as an independent third party — may set its own cookies and collect its own playback data under Google's privacy policy. We have no visibility into or control over what YouTube collects.

Changes to this policy. If we ever add analytics, advertising, or any other form of tracking to VideoProven, we will update this page before the change goes live and publish the effective date here.
